Yes. There is nothing to buy in the app, and you never pay to enter the Weekly Challenge or to win.
Six: Tide Tower, Orbit, Tide Racer, Cube Lines, Cube Clear, Rising Tide. Each game has a How to Play guide in the app (the ? button).
Each week one game is the Game of the Week (the home screen shows which). Your best single score in that game is your weekly score. The week ends Friday at 10 PM Eastern. The top 3 scores win $50, $25 and $10, paid by PayPal or Venmo. Any PayPal or Venmo fees come out of the prize.
Legal US residents 13 and older. Players 13 to 17 need a parent or guardian to claim the prize, and the prize is sent to the parent or guardian's PayPal or Venmo account. Anyone can play and appear on the leaderboard.
Turn on notifications and we'll tell you. You'll also see a message when you open the app.
Open the app, go to the leaderboard, confirm with Sign in with Apple (iPhone) or Google sign-in (Android), then tap Claim prize. You have 24 hours. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited.
Games need an internet connection, and the server replays every game to check the score. Leaving the app or taking a screenshot during a Game of the Week (or Power Hour) game ends it. Untimed games just pause when you leave. Make sure you have the latest version of the app.
Each week, the games that aren't the Game of the Week are untimed: Cube Clear has no clock, and Cube Lines gives each puzzle its own timer. Untimed scores go on that game's leaderboards but don't win prizes. Power Hours are always timed.
Untimed games show a short ad every few games, which keeps the prizes free. Watching an extra-life ad counts, and inviting a friend who's new to the app gives you 7 days with no ads between games.
Our holiday promotion, from Friday, Nov 27 at 10 PM ET to Friday, Jan 1 at 10 PM ET. The 1st place winner of each weekly challenge also gets a $50 gift to send to a friend from their friends list, within 24 hours of claiming. The friend claims it like any prize. See section 17 of the Official Rules.
